Freese and Nichols, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Asset Management Consultant
Freese and Nichols is searching for a Asset Management Consultant with experience with municipal financial strategies for investments in public works and utilities projects in any of our locations. As Asset Management Consultant, you will be responsible for performing financial management analysis for the fiscal health of our public sector clients, potentially including municipalities, counties, water districts, river authorities, and others. Provide specialized consulting services in areas including: financial planning, enterprise rate studies, system development/impact fees, and strategic investment planning Perform complex financial data analyses and fiscal impact studies related to infrastructure investment decisions Prepare, or oversee development of, comprehensive financial models with an integrated set of financial scenarios, assumptions, and metrics Compile financial data in an organized and concise manner and be able to present the data in writing and/or verbally to groups of stakeholders Effectively communicate about financial services with a multitude of audiences, including external clients, the general community, internal clients, and senior leadership Work with and maintain relationships with outside vendors and teaming partners to provide additional specialized support based on type of engagement Support the development of new and add-on business, including new contracts, contract extensions and renewals and increased scope with clients and sectors in Freese and Nichols’ focus areas. Support achievement of sales bookings through collaboration with relevant team members to support account plans, pursuits and winning proposals Effectively develop and articulate value proposition of service offerings to clients Work collaboratively with the company’s resources to define the approach and strategy for achieving client requirements Participate in industry organizations that benefit our client relationships Periodic travel required Qualifications 9 years in financial services in the Utility industry. Master’s degree Preferred: 12 years of relevant experience on municipal and local government projects M.S./M.Eng/MBA, concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting At Freese and Nichols, everyone on our team gets to make a meaningful difference in our communities.
